Example of assessments in the industrial company
This project has started with design of the assessment tools. Our consultants created various exercises and group activities for young managers to demonstrate problem solving skills, result orientation, teamwork and influencing skills. Before running the assessment center we had trained senior managers and formed a group of assessors from external consultants and internal managers. After the assessment center each participant (even those who failed) received a feedback on their performance during the selection process. For this group of talents we also designed a development program, consisting of four modules: leadership skills, emotional intelligence, change management and influencing without authority. In addition, each participant had a mentor, and all of them worked on internal optimization projects that they had to defense in front of the top management group.
In a year, the client asked us to run a similar project for another group of young and talented managers.
